The business owner, Rene, was looking for a new brand name to give his logistics business more global appeal. His company focuses on providing time-critical logistics solutions, helping clients like Tesla and other leading brands get urgent deliveries to their destinations as fast as possible.
The brand name and logo needed to communicate trust, technology, and timeliness. Although capturing these elements in a single name and logo is challenging, we embraced the task. Our primary focus was to create names that incorporated common words related to delivery and logistics. We also aimed to make the name feel 'techy' by keeping it short and memorable. Trust would be conveyed through a name that is easy to pronounce and understand, while credibility would be established during the brand identity design phase.
We found that the word "Sent" fit our objectives perfectly. This allowed us to expand on the word and create variations that felt more tech-focused and would also look great as a wordmark when we reached the logo development stage. After confirming "Sentify" with Rene, we moved on to the brand identity development phase. Despite developing four concepts, something wasn't quite right, and we had to go back to the drawing board. Rene wanted a mark that communicated both logistics and time sensitivity, while also being unique to Sentify and not resembling any other logistics companies. We successfully developed a unique icon around the letter "S," incorporating arrows (to symbolize logistics) and an hourglass using negative space (to represent time). This design was approved, and we proceeded to develop the other brand assets, providing Rene everything he needed to move on to the website development stage.
