The entrepreneur, Steven, sought a fresh brand name to enhance his company’s appeal in the competitive active fitness wear market. His company specializes in delivering high-performance, cutting-edge fitness apparel that caters to athletes and fitness enthusiasts who demand both style and functionality.
The new brand name and logo needed to encapsulate qualities like innovation, reliability, and performance. Although it was a challenge to distill these attributes into a single name and logo, we eagerly accepted the challenge. Our strategy was to create names that incorporated familiar fitness-related terms while ensuring the name felt modern and impactful. We aimed for a name that was both concise and memorable, conveying trust through clarity and establishing credibility through a distinctive design.
We identified the name "Pinicl" as a fitting choice. This name allowed us to explore variations that felt contemporary and would translate well into a sleek wordmark during the logo design process. After finalizing "Pinicl" with Steven, we moved forward to the brand identity phase. Despite developing several concepts, we felt something was missing and decided to revisit our approach. Steven wanted a design that highlighted both the essence of high-performance fitness wear and the unique identity of Pinicl. We crafted a distinctive icon featuring a dynamic combination of a stylized letter "P" with abstract athletic elements to reflect movement and energy. This design was approved, and we continued to develop the remaining brand assets, equipping Steven with everything needed to advance to the website development stage.
